Scope
This policy applies to digitaltools4you.com and messages sent to our published contact addresses. It also explains the current data practices of the live Romândru web platform. The Romândru platform privacy policy remains the detailed source for the live service.
Information we handle
Information you choose to send
If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message, such as your name, email address, message content, and any information you voluntarily provide. We use it to respond, provide support, manage the relationship, and protect our services.
Technical and operational information
Our hosting and security infrastructure may create standard server records such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, and error information. These records are used for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
Analytics and advertising
The current public website does not use advertising trackers or behavioural advertising. If analytics or similar technologies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated first.
Romândru platform information
Romândru is a live Romanian-language social network. To create and operate an account, the platform may handle:
- identity details such as first name, surname, date of birth, and gender;
- contact and account information such as email address and encrypted password;
- optional profile information such as profile image, biography, location, and website;
- member-created content including posts, comments, messages, photos, and videos; and
- technical and usage records such as IP address, browser, operating system, access times, viewed pages, and consented cookies.
This information supports account management, profiles, communication between members, security and fraud prevention, platform improvement, and essential account messages. Optional profile information relies on member choice and can be controlled through detailed audience and visibility settings.
The Android app is still in development. Before its public release, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration will be checked against the final permissions, SDKs, data flows, and account controls in the released app.
Retention and deletion
Contact and support correspondence is retained only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain necessary records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or security obligations. Operational logs are retained according to the limited schedules used by our hosting and security providers.
Romândru account information is stored while an account remains active. After account deletion, associated information is deleted or anonymised within 30 days, except where limited retention is legally required. Members can initiate permanent deletion in Romândru under Settings → Delete account or use our public deletion pathway.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.
Security and children
Romândru uses HTTPS, bcrypt password hashing, optional two-factor authentication, active-session controls, and an activity log to help detect unauthorised access. Data is hosted on servers in the European Union. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Romândru requires members to be at least 16 years old. Members aged 16 to 18 confirm that they have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website, Romândru, or legal requirements evolve. The date at the top will show when the policy was last revised. Material app-related changes will be communicated through an appropriate product channel.
